 Almost Home Child
Development Center, LLC is a
State of Wisconsin licensed daycare
and educational program with locations in
Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Our daycare
center includes an exceptional
infant,
toddler,
3-year
preschool
and
4 and 5-year-old pre-kindergarten
program. Also available for children at
our center is a
summer program and
after school
child care for area elementary students.
At Almost Home, we are committed to a
loving and fun learning environment for
your children. We take pride in offering
a clean, home-like atmosphere with an
open-door policy to encourage
communication with all of our parents.
Our curriculum
Our academic curriculum for all children
over 2 years old emphasizes music and
rhythm, arts and crafts, memory games,
small muscle development and
age-appropriate social and self-help
skills. Each week has a different
theme
that is promoted in the classrooms.
Our staff
The
Oconomowoc, Wisconsin daycare
center has been under the direction of
Lisa Busalacchi for 8 years. Lisa
purchased the daycare in April 2002 to
form Almost Home Child Development
Center, LLC. Either Lisa or her
assistant director is always on site to
ensure that someone is available to
answer your questions and to greet you
when you arrive. The teachers are
long-time staff members and most have
been with the center before its
inception 3 years ago. They are all
trained in early childhood education and
are CPR certified. And most importantly,
they know your child’s name and care for
him or her as if he or she was their
own.
Our philosophy
Our strength comes from our staff.
We strive to provide a caring and
nurturing alternative to your child
being home with you. We believe it is
important for children to play and have
positive social, emotional and
intellectual experiences, whether they
are in our practical learning center,
painting, singing or listening to
stories. A great deal of time is devoted
to strengthening self image.
We encourage positive reinforcement and
positive discipline. “Limits” are set
based on age in an effort to give your
child a feeling of independence and a
sense of responsibility, while keeping
in mind that each child has his or her
own pace of development. We strive to
accommodate your child’s needs and
establish a basic trust between child
and teacher.
We believe that each child is unique and
deserves to be treated with dignity and
respect. We promote cultural awareness
and respect for those who may be seen as
different. Finally, we encourage
communication between Almost Home staff
and you, our customer. You have
entrusted your child to us, and our goal
is to be the best child care provider
your family will ever have.
Our location, hours and tuition
The Almost Home daycare center is located at
1005 North Lake Road in Oconomowoc,
Wisconsin. For directions to

Visit us any time during our open hours
- Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m.
Children attend
our daycare program on a set schedule,
based on availability. We welcome full
or part-time schedules with a part-time
minimum of only two days a week.
Tuition
fees
include a daily hot lunch program and
one snack. Each family also receives one
week of vacation credit per year.

Once you have decided on Almost Home as

of $45 for one child or $60 for a family
with more than one child.
